We’ve given you our picks for top emerging female models of this year, now it’s the guys’ turn.  Check out our picks below!

 

MALICK BODIAN

Senegalese-Italian model Malick Bodian has worked with numerous brands from Hugo Boss to Salvatore Ferragamo, but this year has seen Bodian also step behind the camera.  Models-turned-photographers are nothing new, but Bodian’s work has an elegance and sophistication not normally seen from such new photog talent.  He’s only been modeling for three years, but Bodian has a way of conveying (as well as capturing) a very particular kind of beauty that is undeniable.  He also has a brain as big as his beauty – he speaks four different languages.

JORDAN & ZAC STENMARK

Australian twin heartthrobs Jordan and Zac Stenmark were discovered by none other than Tom Ford.  Athletic and down to earth, the twins have posed for famed photographers Bruce Weber and Mario Testino, and their versatile look has led to campaigns for international editions of GQ, Vogue and Vanity Fair.  The twins have also launched digital destination Stenmark.life, which promotes healthy living, proving that these guys are more than just pretty faces.

BABACAR N’DOYE

The strikingly gorgeous Babacar N’doye walked in 19 shows during NYC Men’s Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2020 season (including Dior, Berluti, and Fendi, just to name a few), more than any other male model that season.  The London native was spotted by a modeling scout while he was standing on a street corner at just 16 years old.  His debut runway was a little more impressive than most – he walked for Christopher Bailey’s last Burberry show in February of 2018.  Now that’s how you make an entrance.

SIMON NESSMAN

British Columbia native Simon Nessman is currently best known as the face of Giorgio Armani (the choice to also feature him as the face of famous Armani cologne Acqua Di Gio cemented his star status), but his resume extends far beyond that.  He’s walked in shows for countless big names, from Roberto Cavalli to Michael Kors.  He was discovered when, unbeknownst to him, his friend sent his pictures to a modeling agency, and ever since, he’s become a regular on Models.com’s lists of top male models.  In 2018, Vogue Hommes officially named him a supermodel, and most recently, he’s been putting his visibility to good use by opening a research facility off the coast of British Columbia for environmental scientists.

ADONIS BOSSO

Ivorian-Canadian stunner Adonis Bosso has had quite a prevalent career in the modeling world, having walked the runways for Vivienne Westwood, Dolce & Gabbana, and Versace.  He proved his versatility when he rocked campaigns for Yeezy, Fenty, and Ivy Park.  Most recently, however, Bosso has shifted his focus from modeling to music.  His dreamlike vocals reflect his ethereal tastes, and he’s released several singles to date.

JAESEOK LEE

23-year-old South Korean model JaeSeok Lee was one of the biggest stars of Spring/Summer 2020 Fashion Week, having walked in 18 shows.  He also has an impressive social media following, with over 100,000 followers on Instagram.  His career got a big boost in 2019 when he shot the Spring/Summer 2020 ad campaign for Wooyoungmi.  Earlier this year, he was busy walking for numerous brands for the Fall/Winter 2020 season, including Officine Generale, Anne Demeulemeester, and MSGM.  

BILLY HUXLEY

With his own brand of rebellious cool, Billy Huxley has been working steadily for the past few years and is finally getting the big recognition he deserves.  You’ve probably seen his face if you shop on ASOS, and he’s also shot for Ellesse, Mango, and Puma.  He also took part in the House 99 campaign with David Beckham and just became the face of Sebastian Hair.  With nearly 400,000 followers on Instagram and counting, we’ll surely be seeing more from Billy and his numerous tattoos for years to come.
