To celebrate his 20th anniversary in haute couture fashion, French designer Thierry Mugler brought out the big guns: supermodels Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Elle Macpherson, Linda Evangelista and rising star Kate Moss all walked the runway, while R&B legend James Brown added some funk to the show. But Mugler’s extravagant designs still made the biggest impact. There were outrageous hats, dramatic capes, lots of latex and one truly audacious cyborg-style outfit that Vogue called a “tantalizing image for the dawn of the Internet age.”
