Fendi’s Fairy Tale

It was an event that wowed even the most well-traveled fashionistas. In celebration of the brand’s 90th anniversary, Fendi (under the auspices of creative director Karl Lagerfeld) debuted its Fall/Winter collection atop the newly refurbished Trevi fountain in Rome. With the fountains flowing, Kendall Jenner kicked off the show, leading a procession of models down a glass runway built on top of the historic attraction. “I called the show Legends and Fairy Tales,” said Lagerfeld of his collection of haute couture fashion. “It’s a collection that doesn’t relate to everybody like ready-to-wear, this is very special for people who have a special kind of life.”
