Futuristic Fashion

The avant-garde creations of designer Juun. J

When asked about the artistic vision for his latest fashion collection, Korean designer Juun. J talked about imagining “a kind of post-chaos city” in which the people who survived clad themselves in his militaristic, Mad Max-style garb. He showed leather motocross jackets in exaggerated proportions, shearling topcoats featuring robot illustrations and androgynous garments with the words “genderless” and “boundaryless” woven into them. Although J’s post-apocalyptic vision doesn’t leave much room for color (black dominated his collection), his innovative silhouettes proved that fashion’s future is looking bright.
