Jeremy Scott’s Runway Rodeo

The designer's funky country fall collection

Missouri-born designer Jeremy Scott trotted out a cavalcade of Americana—a vibrant mix of the 1950s and cowboy culture—for the 2016 fall/winter collection of his namesake brand. Karlie Kloss kicked off the runway show sporting a beehive, bright yellow cowboy boots and a green leopard-print coat. The title of the show was “Cowboys and Poodles,” which Scott explained was “a honky tonk way to talk about cowboys and the girls who are all gussied up.” He went on to describe his outrageously hip new collection as “a little bit more Dolly Parton, but Dolly on molly.”
