Marc Jacobs’s Runway Stars
A fashion film starring a funky mix of celebs
Marc Jacobs hired music video director Hype Williams to helm his fall fashion film, which stars an eclectic mix of muses including Missy Elliott, Courtney Love, Susan Sarandon, Sissy Spacek, Kendall Jenner, St. Vincent and her girlfriend Cara Delevingne. The video features the artists wearing Jacobs’s gothic fall collection to the tune of “Love Honey, Love Heartache” by Man Friday. St. Vincent said that making the campaign was “like an acid-trip Fellini film, 8½ or Satyricon. It was lovely to be in the company of real artists and genuine, beautiful freaks.”
