Model Judah Lang is “IT”
On the It List, new rapper/model Judah Lang
Breakout model in the fashion world—this minute—is the 19-year-old rapper and now-actor, Judah Lang. Tall, blonde, and All-American looking, Judah stands out for his lovely imperfection: a distinct port wine-stain birthmark on his otherwise perfect face. Proving yet again, that perfection is a myth and not nearly as beautiful or interesting as someone who is a little different.
Judah was “discovered” when he was just 16 while riding on a New York City subway. A month later he was in Los Angeles modeling for Saint Laurent. The son of artist Suzanne Bocanegra and Pulitzer-winning composer David Lang, Judah is also a musician, currently going under the M.C. moniker Judah Stax. He’s about to release some new music videos as well as a mixtape with D.J. Loudman, who also happens to be his big bro, Ike. When asked why he became a musical poet, Judah told the New York Times, “I do it for emotional reasons.”
As for acting. Judah’s first film, Skate Kitchen, about a gang of female skateboarders, just debuted at Sundance 2018. In it he plays the best friend of Jaden Smith.
Looks like anything is possible for this fresh face in the entertainment world.
