British Designer Calls for Fashionable Action
The fabulous Vivienne Westwood‘s Fall/Winter 2018/19 collection is a Call-to-Arms. The British designer is dressing her young models in her iconic steampunk style, with brightly colored knits and subtle plaids in soft tweed. The message she’s communicating to the world? Buy less, Choose Well, Make It Last. What designer in her right mind would ask her fans to buy LESS of her clothes? Why. the formidable Ms Westwood, that’s who.
In the video, Westwood explains that her latest gimmick (and we mean that in the nicest way) is to create a pack of playing cards with puzzle pieces, releasing them a week at a time so fans can collect them and fully understand her political message.
