Get Seduced by Ana de Armas

She impressed and seduced you in Blade Runner 2049 and Knives Out, but how much do you know about head-turner, Ana de Armas? Born Ana Celia de Armas Caso on April 30, 1988, in Cuba, de Armas discovered her passion for acting at the age of 12. She enrolled in the National Theater School of Cuba and, at the age of 18, moved to Spain to begin acting.
Moving proved to be fruitful for de Armas, she quickly got roles in Spanish TV and film. With her sights set on making it big, she moved to Los Angeles in 2014. Although she only spoke Spanish, over time, she learned English. She is gorgeous and smart and by 2015, she landed a role opposite Keanu Reeves in the Eli Roth horror film Knock Knock.
Her breakout role was in 2017’s Blade Runner 2049. In the movie, a sequel to 1982’s Blade Runner, she portrays Joi, a holographic computer program and the lead character’s girlfriend. Her performance received acclaim and quickly set her down the path to superstardom.
In 2019, she joined the ensemble cast of Rian Johnson’s whodunnit murder/comedy, Knives Out. In it, she holds her own against big shots such as Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis, Chris Evans, Toni Colette and more. Again, reviewers singled out her performance.
She has exciting projects ahead, including playing a Bond girl in No Time to Die. The movie will mark Daniel Craig’s last time in the role of the famous secret agent. Phoebe Waller-Bridge (of Killing Eve and Fleabag) is the scriptwriter. Playing a Bond girl is not her only sexy role. She will also play tragic icon Marilyn Monroe in Netflix’s upcoming movie, Blonde.
In a relatively short amount of time, de Armas has proven she is a force to be reckoned wi. We are excited to see what comes next.
