Chloë Grace Moretz has been acting ever since she was seven years old when she was cast in a two episode arc in the crime tv show The Guardian. She continued to get roles in major projects like The Amityville Horror remake, 500 Days of Summer, and Kick-Ass. While Moretz has grown up in the spotlight, she has been able to gracefully and maturely transition from child actor to adult film-star, known for her ability to jump from role-to-role embodying a host of different characters. Let’s take a look at her new and upcoming projects now.

Shadow in the Cloud

Moretz stars in this war/horror movie as a female WWII pilot, stuck with a crass all-male crew, who encounters an evil presence while transporting classified documents on a B-17. The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and was then acquired by Vertical Entertainment. Nick Robinson also stars. Shadow in the Cloud is currently available to rent or buy on demand.

Mother/Android

Georgia (Moretz) and Sam (Algee Smith) are a young couple caught in a country ravaged by a war against artificial intelligence. With their first child on the way, the couple decides to make a run for it. Unfortunately, to reach safety, they must first cross a stronghold of the android army, known as No Man’s Land. Mother/Android does not yet have a release date.

Love Is a Gun

Moretz and Jack O’Connell co-star in this new take on the infamous bank-robbing couple Bonnie and Clyde. As of now, this title is still listed as being in pre-production, so no other cast has been announced, nor have plot details about how this differs from other films about the same couple.

After Exile

Moretz, Robert De Niro, and Miles Teller are set to star in this Nick Cassavetes drama about a man who tries to rebuild his life after serving an eight-year prison sentence for involuntary manslaughter. Little else is known about this project, but Shia LaBoeuf was originally supposed to star before being replaced by Teller.
