Weddings can be a mixed bag, especially for Eloise (Anna Kendrick), who has been demoted from maid of honor—after the best man dumped her via text—to the dreaded Table 19. But even among the losers at her table—June Squibb (Oscar nominee for Nebraska), Lisa Kudrow and Craig Robinson among them—hope springs eternal, and Eloise starts considering the possibility of romance with handsome Huck (Thomas Cocquerel). Reckoning with bittersweet reality is the joyous point of Table 19, written by Jay and Mark Duplass and directed by Jeffrey Blitz (Spellbound, Rocket Science), opening in theaters on January 20.
