As Billy Hargrove in seasons 2 and 3 of Netflix’s sci-fi sensation Stranger Things, you loved to hate him and watch him flirt with all the moms. Now that Dacre Montgomery’s time on the supernatural series may be over, let’s get to know this Australian up-and-comer a little better and check out his latest projects.

Montgomery was born on November 22, 1994, in Perth, Australia. He caught the acting bug early and started working at the age of nine, although his education came first, and he obtained an acting degree from Edith Cowan University in 2015. 2016 and 2017 proved to be fruitful for him when he acted in three consecutive feature films, the Christmas-themed slasher film Better Watch Out, Australian comedy A Few Less Men, and Power Rangers. In 2017, he was cast as the troubled and flirtatious Billy Hargrove in Stranger Things. If you haven’t watched his audition tape for the role, you absolutely must. Thankfully, his career doesn’t appear to be slowing down, and he has two upcoming  films. Let’s check them out.
