DANIEL CRAIG Returns to US
No Time to Die, Purity, Knives Out 2+

Debonair, charming, sophisticated, describes British superspy James Bond and the most recent actor to portray him, Daniel Craig. Although Craig has openly admitted more than once his disdain for the MI6 agent, he has continued to play Bond in five films. But, of course, Bond is not Craig’s only notable role. He has been wowing us with performances in many productions, including Layer Cake, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Knives Out, and much more.
Let’s take a look at his upcoming projects!
No Time to Die
Craig’s final turn as James Bond finds a retired 007 back in the fold to rescue a kidnapped scientist. Once back in action, he finds himself tracking down a mysterious new villain. Bond also faces a new 007 played by Lashana Lynch. She took over the mantle after Bond left active service. Cary Joji Fukunaga directs No Time to Die which boasts a script written in part by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. It hits theaters on October 8, 2021.
Knives Out 2
Craig returns as southern detective Benoit Banc in the sequel to the 2019 smash-hit Knives Out. While there are no plot details, the movie started filming in June in Spetses, Greece. Rian Johnson also returned to write and direct. Joining Craig is a host of star-studded talent, including Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, and more. No release date yet, but it will drop on Netflix.

The Creed of Violence
Craig will star in this upcoming historical action thriller as Rawbone, an assassin who travels from Texas to Mexico to stop a smuggling ring. The Todd Field written and directed project hasn’t yet announced additional cast members.
Purity
So far, Craig is the only actor attached to this upcoming tv series about a young woman who joins a group of activists and embarks on an international journey to find her father. However, it might be some time until we see this show. Currently, it is a Scott Rudin production for Showtime. But, given the explosive exposé on Rudin published earlier this year by The Hollywood Reporter, Purity is likely in for a big production shake-up or cancellation.

Knives Out 3
There is even less information known about the third installment of the Knives Out franchise. However, we know Craig and Johnson are teaming up again to bring Benoit Blanc back to the big screen. Knives Out 3 will be released by Netflix.
