Netflix has been cranking out the content — and we are so thankful. More specifically, the streaming platform has had two stellar years for action films. In 2019, it was 6 Underground. For 2020, it was Extraction. So for this week’s Double Feature, PROVOKR brings you the Netflix action pack. 

Both of these movies feature kickass leads of Ryan Reyndolds and Chris Hemsworth. In 6 Underground, Reynolds plays One, an untraceable agent who is completely off the grid. The agents’ names are numbered and none of them know what the others’ missions are — except for One. His job is to ensure that everyone on the team does what they are supposed to. The thrilling adventure gives way to some of the best-orchestrated action sequences of all time.

And it was the best action movie Netflix had to offer until Chris Hemsworth’s Extraction came along. If you’re looking for relentless action, this is the way to go. We recommend watching 6 Underground first to really warm you up. But in Extraction, Hemsworth stars as a mercenary who is given the task of saving the child of a drug lord. 

These flicks will give you an adrenaline rush right from the seat of your couch, so get ready, PROVOKRs.
