Eleven’s New Role
Millie Bobby Brown Takes on Sherlock Holmes
One of the biggest stars to come out of Stranger Things is Millie Bobby Brown. Her breakout character Eleven on the hit Netflix TV show jump started Ms. Brown’s career into super stardom. While it’s unclear when Stranger Things 3 will be fed into our video streaming devices, Millie Bobby Brown just landed a leading role in a new film, which could be turned into a new franchise.
According to Deadline, Brown will star and produce a new film adaptation of author Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes Mysteries young adult novels. She’ll star as Enola Holmes, the younger sister of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes, based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The first book (of six) in the series, The Case of the Missing Marquess, came out in 2006. And it’s more than likely this would also be the first movie in the would-be film series for Legendary Entertainment.
Millie Bobby Brown started a working relationship with Legendary after starring in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the sequel to the 2014 Godzilla reboot and third movie in Warner Bros. Monster Universe film series — along with Kong: Skull Island.
The Case of the Missing Marquess follows Enola Holmes, a 14-year-old kid detective, who is in the search of her missing mother. Her two famous brothers are at odds with Enola, as she embarks on her own mystery to solve. No word on when the first Enola Holmes movie will come out in theaters, but it’s elementary, dear viewers, that Millie Bobby Brown has a bright future in Hollywood.
