al Gadot got her start in American films playing Gisele in the Fast & Furious franchise. Her breakthrough came when she played Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in Patty JenkinsWonder Woman (2017). The success of that movie made Gadot a household name. Let’s take a look at her upcoming projects.

Death on the Nile

Gadot is the young heiress and murder victim Linnet Ridgeway Doyle, in Kenneth Branagh’s adaptation of the Agatha Christie mystery. Don’t worry, just because Gadot plays the victim doesn’t mean she won’t be a significant presence in the film. Of course, like with Branagh’s other Agatha Christie adaptation, Murder on the Orient Express, the cast is phenomenal. Death on the Nile comes out on December 18, 2020.

Wonder Woman 1984

Gadot is in this sequel to the smash-hit, Wonder Woman. While the original was set during World War I, this one takes a significant time jump to, you guessed it, 1984. Wonder Woman will have two new foes to face, Max Lord (Pedro Pascal) and The Cheetah (Kristen Wiig). Chris Pine also returns as Steve Trevor. Wonder Woman 1984 comes out on Christmas Day.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League

This isn’t a new project, but a new version. This 4-part miniseries is a director’s cut of the 2017 Justice League movie. This project will be edited by the way the film’s original director, Zack Snyder, had intended before he left the project.  Zack Snyder’s Justice League, also known as the “Snyder Cut,” will air on HBO Max sometime next year.

Red Notice

This upcoming action-comedy follows an INTERPOL agent tasked with tracking down the world’s most notorious art thief. In addition to Gadot, the cast includes Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson. Red Notice is scheduled for release in 2021.

Untitled Hedy Lamarr Project

Gadot will star in the miniseries as Hedy Lamarr, a film star during the golden age of Hollywood and a brilliant inventor. During World War II, she co-created a radio frequency-hopping signal to help the allied forces.
