HARRIS DICKINSON IS IT
The King's Man & 2 More New Films

Harris Dickinson will be starring in the upcoming film The King’s Man coming this December. For some, this will be their first time seeing him but make no mistake, this isn’t his first rodeo. He started his on-camera career, appearing in BBC shows like Some Girls and Silent Witness. However, it wasn’t until Beach Rats that he became a breakout star.

Beach Rats was released in 2017, starring Dickinson as a teenager named Frankie who uses drugs to escape his stressful life. The film was a hit with critics as it was nominated for 16 awards and won 12 of them. Two were Sundance Film Festival awards. After this, his next significant role was in FX’s Trust in 2018.

In this series, Dickinson played John Paul Getty III, an heir to an oil tycoon kidnapped and held for ransom. His next big part following this one was in the Netflix original series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Then, he played the role of Prince Phillip in Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Recently he appeared in the drama film The Souvenir Part II which made its first appearance at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.

The King’s Man is filmed but not yet released thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. This part seems different from Dickinson’s other roles as it contains many action scenes. You’ll be able to see him as Conrad in The King’s Man this December.
