Hidden Figures

Coming to theaters December 25, Hidden Figures is a new movie (watch the trailer, above), starring Empire sensation Taraji P. Henson and Oscar winner Octavia Spencer, set in the early ’60s, when the United States raced against Russia to put a man in space. NASA found untapped talent in a group of African-American female mathematicians who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in U.S. history—Dorothy Vaughn, Mary Jackson, and Katherine Johnson crossed all gender, race and professional lines to dream big, beyond anything ever accomplished before by the human race.
