JENNIFER LAWRENCE
The Actress Is Hustling Back With 4 New Films

Jennifer Lawrence catapulted to fame with her Oscar-nominated role in 2010’s Winter’s Bone. Since then, her star power continues to rise. She’s maintained her status as a dramatic actor with films like Silver Linings Playbook and Mother! And, she’s also taken on roles in multiple franchises including The Hunger Games and X-Men. Now, let’s take a look at her four upcoming films.
BAD BLOOD
Lawrence stars in this biopic as Elizabeth Holmes, the entrepreneur who created the biotech company, Theranos. It initially had an estimated value in the billions when Holmes claimed she found a way to revolutionize blood testing. However, when the feds began investigating Theranos, Holmes was revealed as nothing more than a con artist.

DON’T LOOK UP
Lawrence co-stars in this Adam McKay comedy with Cate Blanchett. The pair play low-level astronomers who discover that a giant meteorite is on a crash course towards Earth and will destroy the planet within six months. They go on a massive media tour to try to warn everyone before it’s too late.

MOB GIRL
This movie is based on the 1992 true-crime novel Mob Girl: A Woman’s Life in the Underworld by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Teresa Carpenter. Lawrence stars as Arlyne Brickman, who grew up associating with organized crime on the Lower East Side. Eventually, she became an FBI informant and helped the government take down the Colombo crime family.

RED, WHITE AND WATER
And finally, Lawrence stars in the feature film debut of Broadway director Lila Neugebauer. The movie follows a U.S. soldier who tries to readjust to American life after suffering a traumatic brain injury in Afghanistan. Brian Tyree Henry stars in the movie alongside Lawrence.
