Every since breaking out of the comedic TV series, The Office in 2013, actor John Krasinsky has been proving he’s much more than just a funny guy, or a pretty face for that matter. A writer, director, and producer he’s been connected to a lot fine film and TV fare in the last few years including Promised Land, which he created with fellow Bostonian Matt Damon, Adult Swim alongside British comic, Stephen Merchant, and the Academy Award-winning film, Manchester By the Sea.

Now Krasinsky has two huge projects coming out this year. A Quiet Place, which he co-wrote and directed, also starring his gorgeous, talented wife, Emily Blunt. In it, they play a couple living in a horrific world where supernatural monsters attack and kill their human prey. Attracted to noise, the only way to avoid their hunters is to stay as silent as possible, a nearly impossible task with two young and rambunctious children.

We’ll also be seeing Krasisky in front of the camera in Amazon Video’s new series, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. He’s the fifth actor to take on the role of the CIA agent, Jack Ryan, after Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck, and Chris Pine. The 8-part series opens with Jack discovering a series of suspicious bank transfers that leads to him to an international terrorist with a massive USA attack on her agenda.

A Quiet Place opens April 6th and Jack Ryan is set to premiere on Amazon Video August 31st.
