Keanu Reeves is a beloved Hollywood actor. Known as much for his iconic roles as his reputation for being one of the genuinely nicest and most respectful people you can meet. He hasn’t always had it easy. In 1999 he and his girlfriend lost a child, and his girlfriend then died in a car accident two years later. When Reeves hit the red carpet in 2019 with his current partner, Alexandra Grant, fans were thrilled that he’d found happiness again. It’s safe to say that everyone loves Reeves and want to see him continue to thrive. We also love his work, and with that in mind, let’s take a look at his upcoming projects.
The Matrix 4
No plot details have been released for this latest addition to The Matrix franchise. Lana Wachowski returned to write and direct. Her sister, Lilly, who co-created and co-directed the first three, could not take part in the fourth film due to scheduling conflicts.
John Wick: Chapter 4 and 5
Reeves will return as assassin John Wick in at least two more installments of the John Wick series. No plot details are known. John Wick: Chapter 4 is scheduled for release on May 27, 2022.
Rain
Reeves will play yet another assassin in this upcoming TV mini-series. He stars as killer John Rain, who specializes in making his victims look like they died of natural causes. According to IMDb trivia, this is Reeves’s seventh time playing a character named John.
Reeves is also in pre-production on two more films, Rally Car and Past Midnight. As of now, no plot details or expected release dates have been revealed for either project.
