Leave No Trace
Intense drama from the maker of Winter’s Bone

When the perfect little drama, Winter’s Bone, made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival eight years, people literally stood up and took notice. Starring the then-unknown Jennifer Lawrence, the film went on to be nominated and win numerous awards for the cast and its talented director, Debra Granik.
Back for another round at the Utah-based film festival in 2018, Granik brings a tight family drama about a war veteran and his teenaged daughter living off the grid in a vast state park near Portland, Oregon. Starring the always-edgy actor, Ben Foster (Six Feet Under) as the P.T.S.D.-inflicted Will, and the lovely New Zealand teen actress, Thomasin McKenzie as Tom, the film centers around Will’s inability to cope with society and the survival skills he’s teaching Tom to live in the wild.
Of course things get messy as the real world interferes with their secluded one and Will and Tom are placed into the social services system. Soon the father/daughter team set off to disappear into the wilderness again, but will they find the isolation that Will needs or will Tom realize her rightful place may be in a less sheltered, more normal world?
Leave No Trace has no release date yet but will be released in 2018.
