Before Hamilton launched Lin-Manuel Miranda into his rightful seat in the Pantheon of Broadway gods, he had already established a foothold with In the Heights (words and music by and starring the man himself). ITH won Tony Awards for Best Original Score and Best Musical and a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album.

L-MM personally is one Oscar from an EGOT with a Grammy, Emmy, Tony Award already in the bag. He was also the recipient of the 2015 MacArthur Foundation Award and 2018 Kennedy Center Honors….oh and another little honor—the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

In the Heights will open in theaters and stream on HBOMax beginning on June 10th.
