Tom Ford’s highly anticipated thriller, Nocturnal Animals, his first feature film as writer-director since A Single Man in 2009, and the Grand Jury Prize winner at the Venice Film Festival, where it premiered on September 2, is out in theaters for the holidays. Amy Adams stars in the film as an art gallery owner who is haunted by a novel her ex-husband (Jake Gyllenhaal) wrote and gave to her, a violent tale that she interprets as a veiled threat and a symbolic of his revenge. With Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Isla Fisher, Armie Hammer, Laura Linney, Jena Malone and Michael Sheen.
