Bob Odenkirk stars as Hutch Mansell in Nobody. As you may have guessed from the title, Hutch is a bit of an everyman, nothing too special about him. One night, a pair of robbers break into his home. Hutch, wanting to prevent the situation from escalating, decides to let the thieves take what they want and not fight back. This does not sit well with either his wife, Becca (Connie Nielsen), or son, Blake (Gage Munroe), who both start to pull away from him. However, the fallout from the incident ignites a sense of vengeance in him and he decides he will no longer be a bystander in his own life. Of course, when he decides to exercise his new sense of self, he finds himself the target of an evil drug lord after saving a woman from being harassed by a group of men.

Ilya Naishuller (Hardcore Henry) directed Nobody from a script written by Derek Kolstad (John Wick). In addition to Odenkirk, Nielsen, and Munroe the film also stars Christopher Lloyd as Hutch’s father, RZA as Hutch’s half-brother, Paisley Cadorath as Hutch’s daughter, and Aleksei Serebryakov as the film’s villain.

Nobody was originally scheduled to be released on August 14, 2020. Like with many other films this past year, its release was pushed back to February 26, 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic. This past January, Universal Pictures changed the release date once again by pushing it back to April.

Nobody comes out in theaters on April 2, 2021.
