Coronavirus may have Robert Pattinson briefly sidelined, but Gotham City’s newest Bruce Wayne hopefully will be back and running soon. This British actor first caught our attention as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. But, of course, his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight franchise catapulted him to stardom. Since his years playing the sparkling teen vampire, Pattinson has taken on more daring roles in independent films like Little Ashes and The Lighthouse. His most recent film to be released is Christopher Nolan’s mind-bending Tenet. Let’s take a look at Pattinson’s newest movies.

The Devil All the Time

Set in Knockemstiff, Ohio (yes, Knockemstiff is a real place), a group of shady characters attempts to fight a young man (Tom Holland), who only wants to protect his loved ones. Pattinson plays sleazy preacher Preston Teagardin. The Devil All the Time came out on Netflix on September 16, 2020.

The Stars at Noon

Pattinson will star alongside Margaret Qualley in this drama set in 1984, Nicaragua. It follows a woman, presumably Qualley, on a mission in the Central American country that proves to be more mysterious than she believed. As of now, no release date has been announced for this project.

The Batman

And of course, Pattinson is the newest actor to don the Batman costume in The Batman. While a plot synopsis is unknown, we do have a trailer. From that, we can glean that Batman will have to go up against The Riddler (Paul Dano), The Penguin (Colin Farrell), and Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz). The Batman is expected to come out on October 1, 2021.
