Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992)
Francis Ford Coppola’s adaptation of Bram Stoker’s classic is more on the sensual side than what was featured in the original Gothic novel. Gary Oldman embodies the original bloodsucker, while Keanu Reeves is his plaything, Jonathan Harker, who later encounters Dracula’s vampire brides in one of the sexiest scenes in any horror movie.
Interview With The Vampire (1994)
Vampires are just flat out sexy, so when you have the hottest actors in Hollywood from the 90s playing them in movies, then that’s something to celebrate. Based on the best-selling novel by Anne Rice, Interview with the Vampire stars Brad Pitt as Louis de Pointe du Lac, a Louisiana plantation owner who comes across Lestat de Lioncourt, played by Tom Cruise, who gives him the choice to die or live forever as a vampire during the late 18th century. Over the next 200 years, Louis and Lestat go on an erotic adventure of luxury, sex, and drinking blood.
Cat People (1982)
While the original 1942 and the 1982 remake of Cat People are both about sexual awakening, the latter is sexier and more provocative with nudity and skin. The horror film follows Irena (Nastassja Kinski), a young woman who discovers she transforms into a black panther when she has sexual urges. She stalks her prey in a slinky feline manner that’s vicious and a complete turn on! Meow!
Jennifer’s Body (2009)
Written by Diablo Cody, Jennifer’s Body is a smart and subversive horror film that pokes fun at the genre’s cliches when it comes to sex and the “final girl.” Megan Fox oozes raw sexuality throughout the whole film, even—or perhaps especially—as a murderous demon.
Only Lovers Left Alive (2013)
Jim Jarmusch has directed one of the very few vampire “hangout movies”—when you hang out with the characters so much, they actually feel like they’re your friends. It also happens to be one of the coolest and sexiest movies ever made. Only Lovers Left Alive follows Adam (Tom Hiddleston) and Eve (Tilda Swinton), two vampires who have been on this planet for nearly 500 years. Needless to say, they are very bored with life and only death excites them. A majority of the movie consists of Adam and Eve exploring decrepit Detroit at night, listening to music, dancing, drinking blood, and having bizarre sex. It’s a real gem of a movie!
