A sexy affair to remember
Sparks fly in The Only Living Boy in New York

Of course his name is Tom. And yes he lives in New York. A well-to-do young man (Callum Turner) recently graduated from college, is at loose ends. He’s madly in love with a girl (Kiersey Clemons) who doesn’t love him back. He’s getting life advice from a new neighbor played by Jeff Bridges (think the Dude dressed in black with a good hair cut and glasses). He discovers that his domineering father (Pierce Brosnan) is having an affair and that his mother, (Cynthia Nixon) has no idea. He starts to follow his father’s mistress, embodied by the always sexy and sophisticated Kate Beckinsale, around New York City and it turns out that she’s on to him…she knows what he’s been doing and who he is. And then they begin an affair. Sparks fly but sooner or later someone is going to get hurt. From producer-director Marc Webb, most recently of Spider-Man fame, who proved he knew something about young, much less troubled love, in 500 Days Of Summer.
