Summer is coming up and we’re all excited to see the big summer blockbusters. Yes, this past year has been strange for all of us, but now that there actually appears to be an end in sight to this pandemic, movies that have moved around from month to month may finally hit the big screens soon. Here are several upcoming summer films we are excited for.

This sequel of the 1992 horror movie directed by Nia DaCosta and written by Jordan Peele follows a couple who move into the newly gentrified Cabrini Towers. Tony Todd reprises his role as the titular Candyman. It is slated for release August 27, 2021.

Cruella

Black Widow

Another movie that had its release date pushed back several times. The stand-alone Black Widow film, the beginning of Marvel’s Phase Four, was supposed to come out in May, 2020. It will now be released May 7, 2021.
