The Mummy unveiled
Sofia Boutella smolders in sexy summer films

Sofia Boutella is well on her way to becoming one of the cinema’s biggest stars, but the Algerian starlet is far from an overnight success.
Ever wonder how she managed to look so graceful in her show-stopping fight scenes in Kingsman: The Secret Service and Star Trek Beyond? Back in the day, Sofia, 35, made her bones as a backup dancer for numerous pop acts, appearing on stage and in music videos for artists like Rihanna, Michael Jackson, Usher, and the queen herself, Madonna.
On film, her breakout role was as the beautiful and deadly double-amputee assassin with razor-sharp swords attached to the ends of her legs in 2015’s Kingsman, Matthew Vaughn‘s delightful and irreverent tribute to the classic James Bond movies of ages past. The following year, she stole all of her scenes in Star Trek Beyond, where she starred as Jaylah, the righteously determined young alien who helps Captain Kirk and crew to save the day.
Just this week, she appeared as the title character in The Mummy, where she traded blows with Tom Cruise. The film is set to be the first in a new cinematic universe based on Universal’s classic monster franchises like Frankenstein, The Invisible Man, and The Creature From the Black Lagoon.
Next up for the glamorous actress is a supporting role in Atomic Blonde, a sexy new thriller starring Charlize Theron as a burned-out secret agent on the run. Based on an official clip released by Universal Pictures, the two sexy stars share at least one steamy scene, complete with red-hot lighting, pounding club music, and a loaded gun.
