Tom Holland catapulted to fame when he was cast as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. The movie served as a sort of introduction for this new iteration of Spider-Man. Holland got audiences excited for his standalone film, 2017s Spider-Man: Homecoming. Of course, he is more than just Peter Parker. He’s a wonderfully talented actor who was steadily working in British film and TV before joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Let’s take a look at his upcoming projects.

Chaos Walking

Holland stars in this futuristic movie as Todd Hewitt. He lives on the planet New World, and all is well until a strange disease called “The Noise” infects the inhabitants and projects visions of one’s every thought. Todd teams up with Viola (Daisy Ridley) to end the virus. Chaos Walking is slated for release on January 22, 2021.

Uncharted

If you were wondering whether this is an adaptation of the video game series of the same name, you’d be correct. Holland stars in this movie, which serves as a prequel to the games as a young Nathan Drake. The film follows Drake at the beginning of his journey and shows us how he meets Sully (Mark Wahlberg). Uncharted is set for release on July 16, 2021.

Cherry

Holland has teamed up again with Joe and Anthony Russo (Avengers: Endgame) for this drama. Holland stars as Cherry, an army medic suffering from PTSD who turns to a life of crime after drug addiction causes him to land in massive debt. No specific release date has been set for Cherry, but it is due out sometime in 2021.

Untitled Spider-Man Sequel

And of course, Holland returns for the third Spider-Man movie. While there’s no plot information, it will be set sometime after the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home. Marisa Tomei, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon will all reprise their roles. This as-yet-untitled picture is expected to come out in December of 2021.
