So far, 2020 has been a year of stellar collab tracks. Superstars have joined forces to create some of the hottest songs on the charts, and a few of our favorite songs released this year.

Here are the eight hottest collaborations of the year so far:

Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj’s “Say So”

Nicki Minaj, who broke barriers for years as a female rapper, teamed up with one of the hottest up-and-coming women in hip-hop for this track. After Doja Cat promised the internet she’d show the world her boobs if “Say So” reached number one, streamers rose to challenge. The single reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in mid-May.

Megan Thee Stallion and Beyonce’s “Savage (Remix)”

Two Texas ladies united for a good cause to create the other fire female hip-hop track sitting at the top of the Hot 100. Beyonce dropped a few verses on Megan Thee Stallion’s TikTok-made sensation “Savage” and took it to number 2 on the chart. The women are donating proceeds from the song to Bread of Life, a disaster relief organization aiding struggling Houston families.

Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s “Stuck With U”

Who says social distancing can’t be romantic? Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande released their collaboration track in early May as a fundraiser for a scholarship organization that awards financial aid to the children of first responders. The sweet melody and affectionate lyrics had us swooning even before Grande went public with her new boo for the first time in the music video.

Drake and Future’s “Life is Good”

Drake and Future are no strangers to sharing the studio with one another — they released an entire collaborative album in 2015. But that didn’t stop them from putting out of their best shared tracks this year. “Life is Good” peaked at number two on the Hot 100 and is sure to be a club DJ favorite all summer long. (When the clubs reopen, that is.)

Travis Scott and Kid Cudi’s “THE SCOTTS”

Another pair of frequent collaborators dropped their newest track with great fanfare…in Fortnite. Travis Scott took over the video game world for a moment in April and released “THE SCOTTS,” a showcase of his talent that continues to captivate rap fans and Kid Cudi’s lasting presence as a respected figure in the genre. At its peak, it reached number 1 on the Hot 100.

Camila Cabello and DaBaby’s “My Oh My”

One of the highlights from Camila Cabello’s recently released sophomore album, “My Oh My” combines modern trap with her signature Latin flair for an edgy, danceable tune. Sexy lyrics and her soprano croon pair surprisingly well with DaBaby’s deep staccato rapping style. The song peaked at number 12 on the Billboard chart.

Sam Smith and Demi Lovato’s “I’m Ready”

Two of the biggest and boldest voices in pop music dueted to create this uplifting track. “I’m Ready” is a high-energy track with an inspirational tone and a gospel choir refrain to match. At its peak, it reached number 36 on the Hot 100. In addition to elevating our spirits through the uncertainty of recent months, the track has us even more excited for the new albums coming from both Sam Smith and Demi Lovato.

PARTYNEXTDOOR and Rihanna’s “BELIEVE IT”

After many long years of waiting for new Rihanna music, PARTYNEXTDOOR finally gave the people a taste of what they’ve been longing for. Rihanna laid down vocals for “BELIEVE IT”, which appears on the hip-hop artist’s newest album, Partymobile. The song reached number 23 on the Hot 100.
