7 FRESH FALL ALBUMS
Vibe with Lana, Joji, BLACKPINK, Juicy J +

Taylor Swift said it best when she said, “August slipped away into a moment in time.”
After a short summer, fall is almost here. A new season is getting closer. We’re looking ahead and getting excited about upcoming album releases.
Here are seven albums coming out this fall that we can’t wait to hear:
LANA DEL REY’s CHEMTRAILS OVER THE COUNTRY CLUB
Lana Del Rey’s new album was supposed to be here on September 4. Although the release is delayed, Lana recently teased the first singles and music video from the album on Instagram. She also shared the title: Chemtrails Over the Country Club. So, we may no longer have a definitive release date, but we have more details and definite plans for it.
AVA MAX’s HEAVEN AND HELL
We’ve been anxiously waiting for Ava Max’s first album since her breakthrough single “Sweet but Psycho” took over the charts in 2018. Since then, Ava Max released some killer collabs with country stars, including Kane Brown and Thomas Rhett, Jason Derulo. This year, she also released two sassy singles from her album, Heaven and Hell, out on September 18.
JOJI’s NECTAR
He started making parody tracks, and now he’s one of the hottest rising stars in music. Joji stole our hearts with his lo-fi vibe and irresistibly catchy tracks like “Gimme Love.” His debut album was to drop in June, but the COVID-19 pandemic release was delayed. The wait for Nectar now ends on September 25.
BLACKPINK’s THE ALBUM
Everyone’s favorite Kpop girl group is back with a second full-length project, due on October 2. The Album will be BLACKPINK’s first Korean album — the first was in Japanese. The tracklist includes the group’s international smash hit “How You Like That” and the recently released collab with Selena Gomez, “Ice Cream.”
JUICY J’s THE HUSTLE CONTINUES
Rapper Juicy J is back with his first album in three years on October 14. He’s recently released a solid lineup of singles alongside other current hip-hop icons like Travis Scott and Megan Thee Stallion. The lead single for The Hustle Continues dropped in July, and Wiz Khalifa’s feature has us anticipating plenty of other fire features on the album.
LANY’s MAMA’s BOY
One of our favorite indie-pop groups is releasing its third studio album on October 2. LANY has released two tracks from Mama’s Boy so far, and both are prime examples of the relaxed and mellow melodies that make us love them. We expect we’ll be including plenty of tracks from the new release on our fall playlist.
DEFTONES’ OHMs
A longtime favorite of rock fans everywhere, Deftones are back with its ninth studio album. After decades of pushing genre boundaries with an experimental metal style, it’s hard to predict what the band will do next. We’re looking forward to listening to Ohms, its first record in three years, on September 25.
