BECK GOES TO HYPERSPACE
His Dreamy New Album Out Soon

One of the original genre fusers has been sharing his creative artistry for thirty years now, and this week, releases his fourteenth studio album.
The prolific Beck started as a folk musician, evolving with time, but always remaining on the cutting edge of music. He’s revered as an alternative musician who can’t be defined –– his recent works have been classified as alt-rock, pop and hip-hop. Beck’s refusal to be put into a box is what keeps us coming back time and time again.
Hyperspace is said to be something calmer and cooler than his previous album, Colors. It drops on November 22. Several cuts were co-written and co-produced by Pharrell, who may be the architect behind Hyperspace’s rumored dreamy pop vibe.
Four Hyperspace tracks are already out. The first, “Uneventful Days,” has an otherworldly characteristic that somehow captures the sound of slow motion. Another, “Dark Places” is a synth-heavy track that despite dreary lyrics retains its charm. We’re also wowed by what we’ve heard so far and we’re anxiously awaiting our first listen of the Hyperspace in its entirety.
