BILLIE + ROSALIA
Lo vas a olvidar. We Could Never Forget You!

More than a year after the buzz started, Billie Eilish and Rosalia finally dropped their collaborative track “Lo Vas a Olvidar.”
The title means, “Will you forget it?” The song appears in the second special episode of the HBO series Euphoria, “Part 2: Jules.” It will air Sunday, January 24.
The melancholy breakup tune is sad and sexy all at once. Rosalia and Eilish ask for another chance and an affirmation that their love was something special. The lyrics are a mix of Spanish and English. Rosalia is usually a Spanish singer, but hearing Eilish’s sweet voice sing a second language is a treat.
Musically, “Lo Vas a Olvidar” sounds very much like what we’d expect of a Billie Eilish song. It was, after all, produced by Eilish’s brother and musical partner FINNEAS. The song is haunting and melodically minimalistic, so Eilish and Rosalia’s vocals can shine.
Along with the single is a video directed by the Australian director Nabil. It’s simple yet captivatingly eerie. The two women separately bask in a spotlight while they sing their emotional ballad. Their nails appear covered in broken glass that shines in the dull light. As the song ends, the screen gradually fades to black, leaving us wanting more.
Eilish and Rosalia each reportedly have albums in the works, and both may be released this year. If you need more Eilish while you wait, the Apple TV+ documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry will be released on February 26.
