Cardi became the female rapper of the moment in 2017 after her debut single “Bodak Yellow” rocketed up the charts, scoring her a number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and three Grammy Award nominations. Nearly a year later, she released her debut album Invasion of Privacy, which attracted widespread praise and eventually won her Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammys.
We’ve yet to hear when a sophomore album is coming from Cardi B, but she’s promised it’s in the works on more than one occasion. In the meantime, she’s been busy dropping some solid feature verses alongside her honey Offset and other rap A-listers and generally being her provocative self.
