Singer/Songwriter Charlie Puth is about to drop his second studio album Voicenotes later this year. So to give his fans a small taste of it, he recently released a new single and music video for the song “Done For Me,” which is a spicy collaboration with singer Kehlani.

Directed by RJ Sanchez and Brendan Vaughan, the music video features dance club tones in a fun and shimmering vibe with a colorful and vibrant setting for sexy playtime…in disco beds and hot tubs. He has a knack for pop flair, as Kehlani’s smooth vocal stylings perfectly compliments Puth’s falsetto.

The video lends a lot to the song’s dance beats with Kehlani swinging back-and-forth between a hot woman and sexy Charlie. In fact, Kehlani (whose real name is Kehlani Ashley Parrish) recently came out on Twitter as queer, while she also has a tattoo that reads “fluid” imprinted on her body. “Done For Me” is a lot of fun, as it emphasizes the end of a relationship and the need to move on with lyrics like:

“(Ay) What you thinking?
You think that you could be better off with somebody new
(No, oh, oh, baby, no)
You say you’re leaving
Well, if you wanna leave, there ain’t nobody stopping you”

It’s rumored that “Done For Me” is about Selena Gomez (the “other” woman in the video does resemble the sexy singer). The pair briefly dated before she got back together with Justin Bieber in 2016. In fact, Puth notoriously said, “Fuck you, Justin Bieber!” in mid song during a concert in Dallas, Texas in March 2016.

“I don’t kiss and tell, but the only way a song like that can come across as real is if there’s something else going on behind the scenes,” Charlie Puth told MTV. “And that’s what was happening [with Gomez]. Very short-lived, very small, but very impactful. And it really messed me up. I’m trying to put this the best way possible: It wasn’t like I was the only person on her mind. And I think I knew that going in — what I was getting myself into.”

Done For Me” is now available on Spotify and Apple Music, while Voicenotes drops on May 11.
