DUA LIPA HEATS THINGS UP
Studio 2054 All-Star Virtual Concert

Dua Lipa is officially back with her first new single since her phenomenal second album Future Nostalgia.
Lipa’s sophomore album dropped in March to rave reviews. It’s a favorite for Grammy nominations in the pop categories, and it’s clear why. Each single is an electro pop masterpiece with a killer music video to match. In August, Lipa gave the album new life by releasing a full remix, calling it Club Future Nostalgia. Most notably, the “Levitating” revamp includes features by Madonna and Missy Elliot.
Despite already having a successful year, Lipa has more hot music on the way.
In late October, she dropped a brand new single from Future Nostalgia –– a spicy bilingual track called “Fever.” It features Belgian pop star Angèle, whose sweet voice sounds oh-so-romantic as she croons in French. It pairs perfectly with Lipa’s voice as she delivers the track’s sexy lyrics in English. Getting a fever suddenly doesn’t sound too bad.
Rumour has it that Lipa has another hot collaboration on the way, too. Miley Cyrus’ new album Plastic Hearts is due out in late November, and Cyrus says Lipa is on a song. In mid-October, Cyrus told fans it should be out “pretty soon,” although there’s no specific date yet.
When she was asked about the collaboration, Cyrus said the song is “perfectly a blend of the both of (them).” We’re predicting an energetic pop track with just a touch of Cyrus’ recent rock and roll flare.
Finally, on Nov. 27, Lipa will give a pandemic-appropriate live performance via livestream. The show will be called Studio 2054 and will be a “kaleidoscopic rocket-fuelled journey” through the best club eras throughout the decade, according to Lipa’s website. The show will feature plenty of surprise guests and many more theatrical attractions.
Few specifics have been released about the Studio 2054 show, but Lipa gave some details in a recent Q&A session on Instagram Live. She said the performance will take place in a large warehouse and will have music video-like production.
We also have a few predictions of our own concerning how the show might go. We’re expecting The Blessed Madonna, the DJ mastermind behind Club Future Nostalgia to be present. We might even see Madonna herself performing the “Levitating” remix. Other potential guests who appeared on Club Future Nostalgia, Future Nostalgia and Lipa’s self-titled debut album include DaBaby, Miguel, Gwen Stefani and BLACKPINK.
Tickets for the Studio 2054 show are available for sale on Dua Lipa’s website.
