Ever Fallen in Love
Nouvelle Vague redoes classic cover with sitar and Liset Alea

In 2006, the French cover group Nouvelle Vague did a popular spin on the Buzzcocks’ “Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve)” for their Bande à part album. And now, 10 years later, they’re back with a new version of the song. It’s part of their EP Athol Brose, features the exotic twang of a sitar and the whispery-sweet vocals of Liset Alea. They’re calling it “Ever Fallen in Love (Unlocked Destination),” and it’s an even more seductive invitation to drop your inhibitions than the original (cover) was. Watch the music video, above.
