Hotness! at the Disco
Brendon Urie gets kinky
As a founding—and sole remaining—member of Panic! At the Disco, electric emo singer Brendon Urie has proven himself to be one of the most versatile vocalists in contemporary music, with the dulcet tones of a pop star, the crooning vocals of a lounge singer, and the screeching gravitas of a rock and roll frontman. Besides his singing voice, he also has the boyish charm (and pillowy lips) of a fashion model heartthrob. So, yeah, he’s the complete package.
The 30-year-old Utah native has released five albums with Panic!, and is currently stretching his creative muscles in the realm of musical theater; this week, Urie is making his Broadway debut in Kinky Boots, playing the lead role of Charlie Price. He will remain with the show until August 6, so get those tickets now!
Although he’s now officially a Broadway star, Urie hasn’t lost sight of his first love, and he already has plans for Panic!‘s next album. While we impatiently wait for the next chapter of Urie’s musical odyssey, let’s calm down and enjoy some of Panic! At the Disco’s best music videos, which showcase the evolution of their sound—as well as the straight-up hotness of its lead singer.
