When the Jonas Brothers released their first single in a decade, the world went wild for “Sucker.” Now, fans young and old have fallen in love all over again with the trio and their new sound, a testament to their pop roots made for an audience that’s all grown up, just like them.

The brothers’ new album, titled Happiness Begins, and a recently released Amazon Prime documentary about their journey called Chasing Happiness has given old fans and new ones a glimpse into the life of the lovable family. Both are evidence that though they are still the three boys everyone fell in love with 10 years ago, they’re older now, more mature both as people and as artists.

Happiness Begins is a 14-track collection, most of which is made of sweet and sexy love songs. It kicks off strong with singles “Sucker” and “Cool” before moving into more sensual songs like “Only Human.”

“I Believe” is a clear high point on the album, a cool and affection tune that Nick Jonas reportedly wrote for his stunning wife, actress Priyanka Chopra. Its synth-heavy melody is soothing and sweet, and the harmonized chorus is an audible turn-on. “Love Her” has a similar endearing, wedding-esque feel –– it could be the older brother of the famous old Jo-Bros hit “Love Bug.”

Happiness Begins is a cohesive but innovative dive into new pop for a group of men that have made radio hits their bread and butter since their teenage years. It’s self-aware and includes clear touches of gratitude for the success they’ve found and rediscovered, and it promises years of grown-up fun to come.
