LADY GAGA PRESENTS
The WHO Virtual Benefit w/ Billie, Lizzo

Benefit concerts are a time-honored tradition of celebrity generosity and worldwide togetherness, and the One World: Together at Home concert could be the biggest one yet.
The coronavirus pandemic has forced the world to confront unique challenges unlike anything we’ve encountered before, so it’s no surprise performers want to do their part to help. Of course, the threat of the virus’ spread and social distancing requirements kept them from holding an actual in-person concert. But an incredible team of stars, led by Lady Gaga, found a way to bring music into homes all over the world.

The World Health Organization and Global Citizen have partnered to produce One World: Together at Home. The show is meant to be a display of solidarity, full of messages of hope and encouragement, especially for those on the front lines of the fight against the pandemic.

Though the show will not be a telethon, philanthropists and businesses are encouraged to donate to the WHO’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund prior to the event. Money donated supports WHO’s efforts to study the virus, provide all patients with quality care, arm healthcare workers with adequate personal protective equipment and more.
The show will broadcast live Saturday, April 18, at 8 p.m. EST on virtually every viewing platform imaginable. That includes the ABC, NBC and CBS networks, Amazon Prime Video, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch and over a dozen more.

Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert will co-host the event –– from their respective homes, of course. Lady Gaga, who has raised millions of dollars for Global Citizen personally in recent weeks, has curated the show and pulled together a massive list of stars who have pledged to make appearances.

Elton John, a frequent benefit concert performer for decades, is slated to perform. Newly crowned Grammy winners Billie Eilish, FINNEAS and Lizzo will also take the proverbial stage. Australian crooner Keith Urban, the legendary John Legend, and country queen Kacey Musgraves will also perform. Other artists listed to make appearances include Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Paul McCartney, Chris Martin of Coldplay, Sam Smith and Shawn Mendes.

You can find a full list of appearing stars on the Global Citizen website. The One World: Together at Home page also has a complete list of platforms on which you can view the event.
