LET’S GO CRAZY
5 Sexy Prince Songs + His Grammy Tribute

Prince is getting a star-studded tribute nearly four years after his death.
One of the most iconic artists of the late 20th century, his untimely passing in 2016 broke the entertainment world’s heart. But this year, a group of artists making waves in their respective genres will pay tribute to the Purple One.
The Grammy Salute concert is usually performed in the days following the annual Grammy Awards. Past honorees have included both dead and living artists, such as the Beatles, Stevie Wonder and Elton John.
This year’s concert, Let’s Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute to Prince, will include performances by Alicia Keys, Usher, St. Vincent, John Legend, Beck, the Foo Fighters, H.E.R. and more.
Here are the five sexiest Prince songs we’re hoping to hear during the big performance:
Little Red Corvette (1983)
This tantalizing, synthy track tells the tale of a steamy one night stand and he wants it to last longer. It is from Prince’s fifth studio album 1999. After Prince’s death, it recharted on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching number 20 more than thirty years after its original release.
I Wanna Be Your Lover (1979)
One of Prince’s most popular cuts from his second self-titled album, “I Wanna Be Your Lover,” peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. The funky track and its original music video were notorious for being too sexy to air –– but that’s what we like best about it. (The alternate version we included here is also good.)
Raspberry Beret (1985)
Sneaking into a barn for a romp in the hay will never be as sexy as Prince makes it seem, but that’s what makes “Raspberry Beret” so great. The track was released as the lead single ahead of his seventh album Around the World In A Day.
Kiss (1986)
“Kiss” is undoubtedly one of Prince’s most iconic tracks and Rolling Stone labels it one of the best singles ever released. It charted all over the world the year of its release and held the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks.
U Got the Look (1987)
Prince said it best in this track when he said: “If love is good / Let’s get to rammin’.” This guitar-heavy track is from Prince’s double album Sign o’ the Times and hovered near the chart’s top for several weeks after its release. The music video was shot in Paris and is one of our favorites from His Royal Badness.
