Mad for Marshmello
The EDM Producer's Latest and Greatest

Marshmello, one of the hottest names in electronic and dance music today, rode a rocket ship to fame. He posted his first original song to SoundCloud in 2015, and just over a year later, he was performing at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, one of the biggest EDM festivals in the world.
The masked man, inspired by other similarly masked artists like DeadMau5 and Daft Punk, now has a number of charting singles and a dedicated fan base. His accessible pop style makes for the perfect crowd-pleasing sound, but his ability to diversify his style with a range of different collaborating vocalists makes every release more interesting than the last.
Here are five of Marshmello’s best collabs released throughout his short but wildly successful career:
“Happier” (feat. Bastille)
The British group Bastille has been steadily leaning more toward an electronic sound. The group’s collaboration with Marshmello has been its most successful foray into the danceable genre yet, and it’s Marshmello’s highest charting single on the Billboard Hot 100. It’s melancholy lyrics are made irresistible with a happy, high energy beat.
“One Thing Right” (feat. Kane Brown)
Marshmello shows off his versatility and willingness to genre blend with one of his latest singles feating the country artist Kane Brown.
“One Thing Right” has a silky smooth drop with the sweetness of a country love song and the charm of a guitar-driven melody. We thing Kane’s wife is also a fan of this one.
“Wolves” (feat. Selena Gomez)
One of Marshmello’s first major chart-topping hits comes from one of his most high-profile collaborations. Selena Gomez is at her vocal best in “Wolves”, an emotional tour de force of a song. Marshmello’s artistry lets her shine, bringing out her musical best while creating the kind of beat and melody that leaves you craving more.
“Light It Up” (feat. Tyga and Chris Brown)
Marshmello proves he’s good for hip-hop beats, too, with “Light It Up.” Nothing about it sounds particularly electronic, but his skilled production perfectly blends Tyga’s rhythmic rapping and Chris Brown’s silky vocals. It’s sexy and danceable all at the same time.
“Rescue Me” (feat. A Day To Remember)
Yes, you read that featured artist correctly. Marshmello can even do emo. One of the pop punk era’s most popular groups collaborated with the DJ for a track on his latest album Joytime III. It’s all rock and roll and sounds like the A Day To Remember us emo kids know and love, but the drop comes along and gives it a whole new twist. It’s innovative, and works better than we could’ve ever imagined.
