MADISON BEER
Flame On: Hot Singles + Debut Album

Madison Beer is a stunning rising star taking over the pop charts. The 21-year-old’s highly anticipated debut album Life Support is out this month. We’re gearing up for the release by looking back at how she got here.
Beer got her start in music as many young stars do –– on Youtube. She posted covers of popular songs to her channel beginning in early 2012. Her breakthrough came when Justin Bieber tweeted a link of her cover of Etta James’ “At Last.” The publicity rocketed her to internet stardom overnight.
Soon after, Bieber personally signed Beers to his label, Island Records. Still a teenager, Beers began recording tracks for television and collaborated with Disney star Cody Simpson. Her first single, “Melodies,” was released in 2013 when she was just 14 and featured Bieber.
In 2017, Beer began releasing singles from her first EP As She Pleases. The spunky, sultry pop songs showed off her strong vocals and keen songwriting skills and caught the attention of others in the industry. Soon, she was releasing more collabs with stars from all genres, including Offset and David Guetta.
Beer released the debut single from Life Support more than a year ago. So far, she’s released four singles from the album in total. Most notable were “Selfish,” a slow and emotional breakup ballad that’s now certified RIAA gold, and “BOYSHIT,” an unapologetic electropop track with a very sexy music video.
In recent weeks, Beer has also been teasing the rest of the Life Support tracklist by posting snippets of each song on Instagram. Based on the bits we’ve listened to, the 17-track album seems like it will be full of sassy, flirtatious pop songs with dramatic electronic instrumentals.
To celebrate her debut album release in a COVID-appropriate fashion, Beer will be giving five live stream performances of the complete album on March 6 and 7. Tickets and meet-and-greet packages can be purchased online.
Life Support is scheduled to drop February 26.
