Music Master: Mark Ronson
A video highlight reel of the producer's career

The job description known as “celebrity DJ” exists mostly because of Mark Ronson. The London native spent most of the 1990s spinning records in New York City, where he became infamous for his ability to rile up a dance floor crowd. Ronson has since gone on to become one of the most acclaimed producers in the music industry, producing a track on Adele’s first album, 19, Amy Winehouse’s entire Back in Black album as well as Lily Allen’s debut, Alright, Still. Ronson has also found success with his own music—most notably his 2015 hit (with Bruno Mars) “Uptown Funk.” Here are five music videos that highlight the impact Ronson has had on music.
Ronson won the Producer of the Year Grammy for his work on Winehouse’s 2006 album Back to Black.
Ronson cowrote this song on Cristina Aguilera’s 2006 album Back to Basics.
Adele and Ronson worked on this track from her 2008 debut album.
Ronson worked with Bruno Mars on this 2012 hit single, “Locked Out of Heaven.”
This hugely successful collaboration between Ronson and Mars remained on the Top 40 charts for more than a year.
