Halsey’s “Nightmare” provoked us in the best way possible, challenging the way we think of women and the way women think of themselves. Baring her teeth while wearing latex lingerie and making it very clear she won’t smile when she’s asked to, the video is a display of what femininity can look like outside the confines of gender expectations.
