If their last tour is any indication, British band The 1975 will not disappoint their young, mostly female audiences when they hit the road in North America over the next six weeks. Offering non-stop renditions of their hit singles with evocative titles like “Sex,” “Ugh,” and “Chocolate” from their two chart-topping albums, The 1975 know how to work their fans into a well-earned frenzy. At a recent show, perhaps in an old-school homage to Tom Jones, a bra was tossed onstage, much to the band’s surprise. It may have been their first lingerie lob, but we doubt it’ll be their last.

The main attraction is charismatic and ridiculously photogenic lead singer Matty (with the good hair) Healy, whose adorable face—not to mention his lithe, often shirtless tattooed body—we imagine, is currently on posters hanging above the beds of millennials around the world. But Matty’s not just a Jim Morrison/sex god wannabe: the singer also writes the lyrics to the band’s songs, touching on important and provocative themes such as love, sex, drugs, and death, subjects we can all relate to, and if The 1975 has its way, dance to, as well.

If you do snag tickets to one of their shows this spring, consider spending the extra cash to sit close to the stage. At a recent show, Matty spotted a PYT in the crowd, invited her onstage, and showered her with delicious kisses, all while serenading her with the sexy single, “Robbers.” The 1975 just stole our hearts.
