SEXIEST PRINCE SONGS RANKED
+ New Music from the Paisley Park Vault

Choosing Prince‘s best and sexiest songs is like choosing which of your children you love most. Or better yet, like choosing The Beatles’ best love songs or Led Zeppelin’s best guitar riffs. Unfortunately, there are too many choices.

Prince’s middle name is “Sexy” (actually, it’s Rogers), and he pretty much made it his schtick to ooze sex 24/7 (even when no one was around) from day one. He purred into that microphone with those seductive vocals, making our heads spin and our bodies quake. So it wouldn’t be a surprise to hear that thousands of people lost their virginity while listening to songs by The Purple One.

But it’s hard trying to decide Prince’s sexiest songs, mainly because every Prince song is sexy. For this list, however, we stuck to songs that explicitly talk about sex and sound sensual. Basically, songs that you can make love to. Of course, Prince talks about love a lot, but that doesn’t necessarily make certain pieces sexy. With yet another posthumous album, Welcome 2 America, coming out of the vault on July 30, we’re sure to get more sexy tunes. But without further ado, get ready to get sexually charged because these are the steamiest Prince songs.
“Soft and Wet”
From Prince’s 1978 debut album, For You, “Soft and Wet” is upbeat but has the subject material and that sexy high-pitched crooning that made Prince famous.
“Head”
The groove in “Head” pulses and gyrates as Prince sings the lyrics, “Head. Til you’re burning up. Head. Til you get enough. Head. Til your love is red. Head. Love you til you’re dead.”
“Do Me, Baby”
If the title “Do Me, Baby,” doesn’t suggest sex, we don’t know what does. This is a slow ballad, and Prince croons about wanting to be kissed all over.
“Little Red Corvette”
From 1999, “Little Corvette” was written to the beat of Stevie Nicks’ “Stand Back.” It starts moody and alluring, but soon you’ll be humming the chorus. Of course, “Little Red Corvette” is one of the best songs ever written about casual sex.
“Darling Nikki”
In Purple Rain, “Darling Nikki” makes Apollonia jealous and angry following her fight with The Kid. But, instead, it talks about The Kid’s sexual experiences with a woman he meets. Suffice to say, it secretly sexually frustrated Tipper Gore and everyone else at the Parents’ Music Resource Center.
“Under The Cherry Moon”
Other than the fact that the song plays in the film Under The Cherry Moon during Prince’s sex scene with Kristin Scott Thomas’ Mary, it’s another one of those great love-making songs.
“Kiss”
Have you seen the video? Unfortunately, there’s not much more we can say.
“Slow Love”
This is a baby-making song. It’s slow, romantic, and sensual.
“Adore”
Again, another baby-making tune to satisfy a slower night.
“Scandalous”
“Scandalous” plays during the credits of Batman, but it’s the most popular song on Prince’s motion picture soundtrack. We wish we saw Bruce Wayne and Vicki Vale having sex to the music.
“Cream”
Prince always had an excellent way of naming his explicit songs. He’s blunt.
“Get Off”
If you’ve ever seen P.S. I Love You; then you’ll remember that Holly chooses to sing “Get Off” at the karaoke club to make her husband Gerry sexually frustrated. It works. Also, Prince performed this song at the 1991 VMAs wearing his infamous “butt suit” that seemingly showed off his perfectly round butt.
“Erotic City”
With lyrics like “(We can fuck until the dawn. Makin’ love ’til cherry’s gone) Erotic City, can’t you see? F*** so pretty, you and me,” you can see how sexy “Erotic City” is.
“Insatiable”
This is the epitome of sexual songs. No, seriously. It might be Prince’s sexiest song. The video will make you blush as Prince sings about filming the dirty with a woman. It’s slow and passionate and almost too much to handle.
Other than that, so many Prince songs have sexy names, but they aren’t necessarily songs you’d listen to making love. Honorable mentions include “Jack U Off,” “Sexy M.F.,” and “319.”
