SZA’s sizzling sophomore album Ctrl was released in 2017. Since then, she’s been featured on songs alongside artists like Kendrick Lamar, DJ Khaled, and more. But she’s yet to announce that another album is on the way.

However, we think that is coming soon. Since Ctrl, the 30-year-old R&B queen, released “Hit Different,” her first single as a lead artist in September 2020. She followed it up with another track titled “Good Days” on Christmas. She’s also on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine next month and recently set up a TikTok account. Big things seem to be happening.

We’re gearing up for a new SZA releasing by counting down some of her steamiest tracks to date. Here are some of her sexiest lyrics:

DOVES IN THE WIND (FEAT. KENDRICK LAMAR)

Sit back and relax your mind, just ride / (Give you all of me, and I won’t stop, not a little bit) / Sit back and relax, you’ll find just why / (Dangerous boy, I wanted to do it all)

“Doves in the Wind” is an ode to the feminine form. This steamy collab is unapologetically sexy and one of SZA’s many stellar collabs with Kendrick Lamar.

PROM

Shame, shame on you / But lately you’ve been feeling so good / I forget my future, never pull out / Shame, shame on me

Sometimes it’s so good you forget yourself. That’s what’s happening in “Prom,” one of our favorite tracks on Ctrl.

THE WEEKEND

Just tell me you want me, yeah / Monday, and I’ll be at your door / Ready to take her place / Ready to give you / What you’ve been missin’ on weekdays

This Grammy-nominated track is all about an erotic love triangle. Whether you think it sounds like a toxic situation or not, “The Weekend” is an undeniably steamy song.

CHILDS PLAY (FEAT. CHANCE THE RAPPER)

Memories keep playing back, all nights we used to love / Just wondering how we used to was, how we used to was

For this track, we go back to SZA’s debut album Z from 2014. She collaborated with Chance the Rapper, another rising star at the time, to record this groovy, romantic track.

LOVE GALORE (FEAT. TRAVIS SCOTT)

You’ll do whatever I want / Get whatever I want / Get whatever I need / It’s about love

There’s something about a fling that makes everything else around you disappear. “Love Galore” puts that feeling into words. If you’re looking for more, see collaborator Travis Scott’s verse for more sensuous lyrics.

DREW BARRYMORE

Do you really wanna love me down like you say you do? / Give it to me like you say you do?

“Drew Barrymore” is another of our top picks from Ctrl. SZA calls her lover’s bluff with this hot lyric, challenging him to show instead of telling.
